と同じだろーと思ったのだが、ubuntuだとコマンドや設置場所など微妙に違ったので、次回戸惑わないためのメモ。
phpmyadminの導入は前の日記と同じ方法でOK.
【MySQLの文字コード問題】
前の日記に沿ってmy.confを編集しようと思ったらetc直下にない。
ubuntuでは/etc/mysqlにあることが判明。
しかも、内容がちょっと違う。
※ubuntuとcentosというよりは、MySQLのversionの問題だろうか？
自分の環境は
mysql> select version();

なのだけれども・・・？
まぁとりあえず自分の環境をutf環境にする。
my.confのバックアップとしてmy.conf.origを作成して、
my.confを以下の赤字を追記
